Landhaus Zimmermann in Alken

When we arrived we were given the keys to the hotel room in the restaurant. As it is an aparthotel, the room was accordingly large and well equipped. There was a terrace with a view of the Moselle and the vineyards. There were delicious wine recommendations in the restaurant. Coffee and dessert were very good too. We didn't have a main course. The restaurant itself is comfortably furnished and there are also corners for a romantic get-together. The boss came over to the table to make sure everything was okay.

Eaten super tasty; very cozy atmosphere. The staff was very, very friendly. Gladly again.

Went there for lunch on the way to Burg Eltz. Typical local German menu but surprised to find the quality of the dishes were over and above typical German cuisine and looked like fine dining. Though we did not stay at there but found the room quite spacious and inexpensive.

Very nice landlady. Although we came to dinner late in the evening, a very delicate cold Vesper plate was prepared for us. You often want such friendly hospitality 👌

It was very comfortable. The food was a taste experience. Unfortunately so plentiful that we couldn't eat any more dessert 😔.

We were 'only' here to eat. Passed by a thousand times before. But then the family is invited on recommendation. For me a great price-performance ratio. Delicious! Well implemented: Corona hygiene .. I will definitely come back!

Unfortunately I can only give one star. We made reservations and were looking forward to a nice evening with our family. Unfortunately we were sent away at the door. Allegedly we were called several times to confirm the reservation, we were called exactly once and after 2 min. Called back later and no one answered the phone, we thought that one would call back if it was important. It is a shame that this did not happen and no e-mail came because the reservation was also handled this way.

Very good, down-to-earth food (venison sausages with red cabbage or homemade Maultaschen) &, above all, very tasty Federweißer in a rustic atmosphere or with a beautiful view of the Moselle. Friendly & fast service. Afterwards, a walk to the local winemakers is also worthwhile.

Nice, friendly service, unfortunately waited too long for the food, it was also swapped, then had to wait another 20 minutes. Much too big side dishes, too small schnitzel, not a word of apology when paying after almost 2 hours of stay. Tastes good, ....

Corona rules are implemented very well. Nice terrace Super cozy inside. There's much to see. Everything is furnished with a lot of love. Good concept from the owners Fam. Zimmermann. Everything is very authentic. Food very tasty !! Card payment possible. There are enough parking spaces in the immediate vicinity. Very attentive service! Tonight (07.09.) We were overwhelmed by the service of the young woman. She did a great job! Get well soon to the boss 😊

Delicious food (we got the Maultaschen and the Rahmschnitzel) and great service! Definitely recommended.

The restaurant is located directly on the Moselle and has a cozy atmosphere. The service is very friendly, helpful and competent. The food was delicious and the portions are not overloaded, making you feel full. Menus are accessible online via a QR code at the table, so a smartphone is mandatory. I don't know whether there are also printed maps. WiFi is available.

GOOD KITCHEN WITH A COZY OUTDOOR AREA If you are looking for a restaurant that offers regional dishes and invites you to linger outside, the "Landhaus Zimmermann" is the right place. We had an excellent lunch and drank great wine. Definitely deserved 5 stars!

We have felt very comfortable here. The staff is super friendly and flexible when it comes to special requests. The food was perfect and tasty. And the salad with the dishes was not run-of-the-mill as in many restaurants. All in all very recommendable!

Nice location. Food is good and well priced. Didn't make a reservation so we couldn't sit outside but the inside was cosy and decent.

Very nicely decorated. Beautiful outside area. Great view of the Moselle. The food is super tasty and the waitresses are attentive and really nice. It was my first time here and definitely not the last time !!!!! Highly Recommended!!!!! I can't say anything about the rooms, we only ate here. But if the rooms are furnished as lovingly as the whole house, then you can feel very comfortable!

It was a really bad experience. They took more than 1 hour to serve the food and it was awful. I told them and they didn't apologize for the taste or time I had to wait. NEVER AGAIN

Took 1 hour to get the food and finally potatoes and asparagus were raw and not well cooked. Waiter was rude and offensive and not accepting bad feedback but saying I am wrong. I dont recommend to anyone this place!

Rather disappointing experience. Cook had a lazy day? Waitress had a bad mood? Why is there no wine menu in a wine growing town? Anyhow too many unanswered questions. We left after the main course.
